- Huguette Éli Pichette est décédée paisiblement à l'Hôtel-Dieu de Québec, le 1er février à l'âge de 80 ans et 8 mois. Huguette est la dernière des enfants de feu Eugène Pichette et de feu Marie-Ange Rousseau. Originaire de Campbellton NB, elle demeurait à Québec.
Elle laisse dans le deuil son époux Gilles Lafond et sa famille, trois de ses enfants, Michel, Hélène et Gilles, huit petits-enfants, deux arrière-petits-enfants, les familles Allard, deux belles-soeurs, Simonne Richard (Numa) et Simonne Guitard (Gaston), plusieurs neveux et nièces, cousins, cousines et ami(e)s. Elle est allée rejoindre son premier époux Yvannhoe Allard, sa fille Denyse, ses frères et sa soeur, Roger (Florence), Numa, Raymonde (Lucien), Raymond (Claudette), Jean-Paul (Mary Helen) et Gaston.
Les funérailles auront lieu à la Chapelle funéraire Maher 64, rue Lansdowne Campbellton, Nouveau-Brunwick le lundi 27 février à 11 h; visites, le dimanche 26 février au Salon funéraire Maher 33, rue Lansdowne, Campbellton où la famille vous accueillera de 14 h à 16 h, 19 h à 21 h et le lundi 27 février de 10 h jusqu' à l'heure des funérailles, suivi d'un goûter.

«i»Huguette Éli Pichette passed away peacefully at the Hôtel Dieu hospital Québec City on February 1st 2017 at the age of 80 years and 8 months. Huguette was the daughter of the late Eugène Pichette and Marie-Ange Rousseau. She was the last living member of the Pichette family, a generation that will be sorely missed. She was originally from Campbellton NB. At the time of her death she was living in Québec City. Survived by her husband Gilles Lafond and his family, three of her four children, Michel, Hélène and Gilles, eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren, the Allard families, her sisters-in-law Simonne Richard (Numa) and Simonne Guitard (Gaston) and also many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by her 1st husband Yvannhoe Allard, her daughter Denyse, her brothers and sister, Roger (Florence), Numa, Raymonde (Lucien), Raymond (Claudette), Jean-Paul (Mary Helen), and Gaston.
Visitation at the Mayer's Funeral Home, 33 Lansdowne St., Campbellton, on Sunday February 26 from 2-4 and 7-9 and on Monday February 27 from 10 until time funeral at the Chapel. Funeral service will be held at Maher's Funeral Chapel, 64 Lansdowne St. Campbellton, Monday February 27 at 11 am, followed by a light lunch.
