- ALLARD, JOSEPH H., 32, of Clear View Drive, Cranston, died Tuesday, August 1, 2006 at RI Hospital, Providence. He was the beloved husband of Jennifer A. (Cain) Allard. Born in Providence, a devoted son of Edmond H. and Barbara A. (Shewchuk) Allard of Warwick, he moved to Warwick in 1977 and to Cranston in 2002.
Mr. Allard was a lineman for Verizon Communications for the past 13 years. He graduated from Warwick Veterans Memorial High School in 1992 and received his Associates Degree from CCRI in 1994. He served in the 119th RI Army National Guard from 1992-2000 as an M.P.
Besides his wife and parents, he is survived by 2 daughters, Kaitlyn and Grace Allard; one sister, Stephanie DiBenedetto and her husband Brian of Cranston; his maternal grandparents, John and Helen (Wiktorowicz) Shewchuk of Cranston and 1 niece and 2 nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Saturday at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Apostles Church, 800 Pippin Orchard Rd., Cranston, and may call at the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on FRIDAY 4-8 p.m. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket.
